Kenner (LA) Alumni Chapter Hosted Senior Wellness Outreach at Metairie Manor
On June 18, 2026, the Kenner (LA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. successfully hosted a community service event at Metairie Manor, bringing together fraternity brothers and senior residents for a morning focused on wellness, fellowship, and service.
On June 18, 2026, the Kenner (LA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. successfully hosted a community service event at Metairie Manor, bringing together fraternity brothers and senior residents for a morning focused on wellness, fellowship, and service.
The event, hosted by the Spring ’26 Initiates, reflected the fraternity’s commitment to community engagement and compassionate outreach. Residents participated in educational discussions covering medication compliance and safety, fall prevention, and general health and wellness awareness. The gathering also included bingo and other social activities designed to encourage interaction, connection, and enjoyment among attendees.
In addition to sharing valuable wellness information, the brothers provided refreshments and created an atmosphere of warmth and support. The event served as an opportunity to strengthen relationships with local seniors while reinforcing the chapter’s dedication to service and community impact.
Guided by the principle of “Achievement through Service, Compassion, and Community,” the outreach exemplified Kappa Alpha Psi’s ongoing commitment to uplifting others and making a positive difference in the lives of those they serve.
